OpenAI recently announced some exciting new features for ChatGPT, including AI voice and image capabilities. I haven’t had a chance to test the audio features yet, but I did try out the image features, and let me tell you, they’re mind-blowing! ChatGPT can now analyze images and even create them with incredible detail.

If you haven’t tried it out yet, you’re in for a treat. Here’s how to use the new ChatGPT image generator, Dall-E 3, along with some tips to help you get started.

Can ChatGPT Generate Pictures?

Yes. OpenAI has seamlessly integrated its cutting-edge image generator, DALL-E 3, into ChatGPT premium plans (Plus, Team, and Enterprise), allowing users to generate unique images from a simple conversation.

DALL-E 3 is a real game-changer, and here’s why:

• Intuitive Prompts Understanding: You don’t need to be a prompt engineer to get great results. DALL-E 3 understands natural language, so you can describe what you want in simple terms.
• Accurate Image Generation: It’s amazing at turning your text descriptions into exactly what you pictured, paying close attention to specific details and wording.
• Versatile Image Proportions: You can easily create images in different aspect ratios to fit your needs (like 1:1 for Instagram posts or 16:9 for YouTube thumbnails).

How To Use ChatGPT Dall-E To Generate Pictures

Step 1: Log in to ChatGPT and Access GPT-4

Visit Chat.openai.com and create a ChatGPT account by selecting “Sign up” and providing your account information.

If you already have an account, simply click “Log in.”

Next, find the dropdown menu labeled GPT-3.5 and select GPT-4 or GPT-4o. If your account has not been upgraded to this version, upgrade it by clicking on “Upgrade to Plus” for $20 per month.

Step 2: Get started with DALL·E 3

Now, you can use ChatGPT DALL-E 3 with simple text prompts right from your chat. Just type a simple description of the image you want, and it will realize it for you. The possibilities are endless, so let your imagination run wild.

Your prompt should provide intricate details about what you want, from the subject’s characteristics to the desired background, all within the specified style—opt for anything from a realistic photo to a painting, watercolor, 3D render, etc.

Step 3: Download the image and regenerate

To view and download the image, simply click on it.

If you want DALL-E 3 to create a new image based on the same description, please press the refresh button located beneath the image.

You can also upload an example image to ChatGPT, it can then analyze the image and create a new picture inspired by it.

Step 4: Create Your Own GPT For Image Generation (Optional)

You can also create a GPT specifically for generating images, offering a more focused approach for better results. Here’s how to do it:

• Click “Explore GPTs” from the sidebar.
• Select “Dall-E” from the menu or “Create” to make your own GPT for image generation
• Now, you can choose from many ready-made GPTs for image creation or tailor your own with various customization options. This specialized GPT will deliver results based on the instructions you provide during the setup process.

With the setup is done, it’s time to get creative! Use DALL-E 3 to create stunning images that enhance your content.

Tips To Obtain An Effective Result With ChatGPT Image Generator

Here are several useful tips you should keep in mind to get the best result.
